The 2010 Nautica Malibu Triathlon - International Distance

A big congratulations to Brandon who competed in the 2010 Nautica Malibu Triathlon (International Distance). He placed 14th in his division and came in the top 10% overall!

The International distance race course is a longer course that features a 1.5K Pacific Ocean swim, a 40K out-and-back bike course along the Pacific Coast Highway, and a 10K out-and-back run course on pavement and blacktop along the sands of Zuma Beach.

The Cycle Annex took part in a special virtual indoor cycling event on Nov. 8th!

Thrill-seeking, adventure-loving fitness fans jumped in the saddle and took off into a whole new world with RIDE!, Southern California's First Virtual Indoor Cycling Experience.

Imagine rows and rows of stationary bikes surrounded by lights, music and large projection screens inside the cutting-edge Avalon nightclub in Hollywood. Cycling instructors took turns up on stage, working in sync with the lights and the music to guide the adrenalin-filled participants on an exhilarating, energizing virtual journey through lush rainforests, misty mountains, deserted beaches, city lights, surreality...

Brandon Hament (The Cycle Annex, South Pasadena) closed out the day with a 1.5 hour class & some sweet music mixes!
